" This facility is phenomenal. The care Mom receives at Country Commons is second to none; the staff is exceptional. Each employee goes above and beyond in providing quality, loving care. Dementia is difficult; Country Commons has made such a difference in Mom’s life. She is in a setting where she is comfortable and able to relax, enjoy herself and those around her… she visits, smiles, waves, and blows kisses to fellow residents and staff. The surroundings are pleasant and homey, the gardens and grounds are secure and beautiful for a stroll or simply to enjoy the view.

The homelike setting has comfortable furnishings with areas to visit and recliners for a nap. Meals are homemade and served in the conservatory dining room. Mom is enjoying eating again for the first time in years and has gained some much-needed weight. The staffing is plentiful, there’s time for staff to connect with the residents, hold hands and provide the extra touches and care for your loved one. Mom is happy, content and so well-loved at Country Commons; we feel so very fortunate to have found Mom’s “forever home”."

"My Uncle has been living at Country Village for several years, he has mid-stage Parkinson's disease and requires quite a bit of assistance. I'm sure he did not envision needing the level of care he now requires. We cycled through independent and other assisted living locations in Chico. Country Village has been the best fit, It is relatively small, staff and management are truly concerned for the residents care, they take the time to get to know both the families and residents. For us I cannot imagine a better place for my uncle to be."

"My husband, George, was a resident at Country Village for two years until his death a year ago, 2018. Prior to becoming a resident, he regularly attended, twice a week, The Club, a senior daycare program, and he also was in Respite Care for a couple of nights. My daughter, son, and I were so impressed by these programs that when the time care for George to have full-time care, we didn't hesitate to have him become a full-time resident at Country Village.
The residents were considered as family and received personalized love and care. I had many meals there and attest to the wholesome cooked food. We looked at other assisted living and memory care places and found in Country Village just what we were looking for. We wanted my husband and dad to be in a countryside atmosphere, small in the number of residents, homey feeling to the place, and hands-on loving care attention to his needs."

"Country Village assisted living is such a lovely place. The provided excellent care to my loved one and allowed me and my spouse the caregiving break we needed when it got too difficult to care for them at home and it allowed us to simply be the loving family members we wanted to be. Their staff are friendly and caring and committed to good care to the residents. We are so thankful for Country Village."
